WRITER, POET BLOGGER, INSATIABLY CURIOUS LEARNER
Zoë Zack Dunning (ze/they/he), is a queer, trans writer by nature and trade, born and based in Kansas City, Missouri. Ze is primarily a creative composer, poetry being zir forté and passion, but ze’s dabbled in journalism and written for various publications and blogs.
They've been making a name for themself in the local trans and poetry community since 2021 but have been writing since they were old enough to pick up a pencil. They are a three-time finalist in the Kansas City Poetry Slam, a competitor in a previous KC Grand Slam, and have been featured at Poetic Underground KC several times.

He regularly pours himself out to perfect strangers at open mics and shares at queer events. When he's not, he's writing poetry like solving a puzzle. Just one last line to crack the code!
Ze writes both fact and fiction about zir queer experience, religious upbringing, trauma, polyamory, mental illness, disability, neurodivergence, and making sense of it all.
