A sonnet about the title subject, written on September 9, 2014.

It happens so slow over time; you are but asleep

All you know is you go from day to day

You wake up when it becomes complete

Something is missing; press the replay!

Fear strikes your heart; you aren't ready

This change is so odd, too new

Things were better the same old steady

Surely I saw the transformation; I just knew

But slowly, gradually, over time you adjust

This isn't all that bad, you admit with a shrug

I can get used to this if I try, and I must

The situation begins to feel sort of snug

Just like the seasons pass and time changes

Transition becomes easier, like normal phases
