On the road to revolution

Bleeding heart

Running down my sleeve

Soil greedily soaking up my sacrifice

We’ll be forced to swallow

The bitter seeds we sowed

Choke on the fumes

Of our last breaths

The exhaust of a planet

Crying for relief

No ark sailing to safety for us

No rapturous rescue

Only utter destitution

God will leave us all to burn

The rotting flesh of kings

Will feed the earth

From the ashes of capitalism

And the bitter seeds we spit out

Life will be born again

Isn’t that the real revolution?
