The Big Bang from Science Photo Library

Cells multiplying

Tulips bursting

Anemones spreading open

Waterfalls flowing

Geysers gushing

Volcanoes erupting and spurting magma

Luminous supernovas exploding

The Big Bang

The cosmos fucking the ether

Into conscious existence

Him

In my mouth

Flowering head to root

Until I bring him to the edge

Then give a push

And he’s free falling

Shooting stars all over me

Comet tails streaking down my chest

I swirl my fingers in his essence

The Milky Way mess he baptized me with

And he tastes like star dust
