What are you going to do about it?

So I’m sure by now you’ve already heard that the Missouri Attorney General signed an emergency order that goes into effect soon and will ban gender-affirming care for trans people of all ages unless we fit into very narrow guidelines. Notably, we can’t have depression (which goes hand in hand with dysphoria) or be autistic!?! 😳🤯 We’ll have to prove dysphoria, therapy sessions, etc etc. Basically making it impossible to (legally) transition. 😑😩😤

Make no mistake, this is genocide. The next step is disappearing us completely from public life and jailing us. It doesn’t always look like outright killing people.

But so many trans people will kill themselves if they’re forced to detransition. I will be one of them. I want to fucking die. I canNOT go back. Just the thought of not being able to take my hormones makes me panic. The withdrawals are horrible, and I feel unstable and just…wrong without them. That is the only way I treat my gender dysphoria and have a future.

Autistic people do not have equal rights, which is proven time and time again when they treat adults like children and say we can’t be trusted to know what’s best for ourselves.

What’s especially devastating to me is that my parents probably are hoping I’ll be forcibly detransitioned. And I JUST found out that Medicaid would cover top surgery for me. But now the state is slashing that too. So fucking cruel!!! 😭😭😭🤬🤬🤬

Why WHY do strangers care so much about what we do with our own bodies and lives??? Does not affect cis people at all!! They need to grow the fuck up and learn to accept people different from themselves.

We will fight this in court, but our allies will make or break the next couple years. If we don’t want to completely follow in Nazi Germany’s footsteps, start using your voice and energy to defend trans lives if you aren’t already. Organize and go to protests. Contact lawmakers. Be ungovernable.

This is genocide. Silence is complicity, and complicity is violence. Please help. I am so fucking angry and afraid. 😭😭😭🤬🤬🤬
