On March 12th

Soooo THEY are the ones

Trying to change people’s genders

Through pressure and policy changes

And emboldened violence…

Not trans people

Every conservative accusation

Is a confession

It’s all fucking projection

People detransition due to transphobia

Oppression

Rejection from family

Lack of support

Poverty

Job and work discrimination

Not because they aren’t actually trans

And you know what??

We do have regrets…

We regret not transitioning

MUCH younger and sooner!!!

Grieving the childhood

You could’ve had

Is the crux of the trans experience

Less than ONE percent of us

Regret our transitions

That is a medical miracle

Most doctors would kill

For that success rate

Why does the life of

The 1 trans person with regret

Matter more than

The 99 of us with none??

Is that because they believe

Jesus would leave his flock

The 99

To search out and find

The 1?

We don't need salvation

If we regret treatment we get

For ourselves

That is trans business

Not anyone else's

Not a political talking point

Not info for bigots to arm themselves with

They can steal our voices

And speak over us

But we have the right

To experiment with our desires

And customize our bodies

Learn what we do and don't like

Leave room for doubt

And changing our minds

But trust that

We know who we are

Always have

Our bodies, our choice
